Finn the Fearsome

So I did get a picture of Finn as a knight after all. Although carnival is officially over (it's Ash Wednesday today) he wanted to dress up again. He still loves playing with his "Ritterburg", the Playmobil knight's castle he got for Christmas. His favourite "reading material" right now are the Playmobil catalogues and he tells me every day what he would like for "my next Christmas" - the fiery dragon, the Egyptian warriors, the pyramid and maybe even the REALLY big Ritterburg. Poor kid has hardly any toys.







And - we enjoyed a really nice visit with Martina and Martin, who stopped by on their way back home from a skiing trip to the Alps. Unfortunately, Lily was sick with a fever, and I hope they didn't take the virus home with them!

Just a few February pictures

February is carnival time here ("Fasching") and Finn and Lily celebrated at preschool/playschool. We recycled last year's costumes, only our little bee was even cuter and our knight even braver this year, if you can imagine. I forgot to take a picture of Finn, though, oops.

And since we are a bit fed up with all the snow we had a beach party / picnic in the living room a few days ago. Lily practiced eating like a monkey, picking up cashew nuts with her feet. :)
