And in the afternoon we had birthday cake and coffee with Oma, Opa and Omi Charlotte:
Finn really enjoyed his birthday, especially the fact that he finally got the toy whale shark he has wanted for so long. He still loves the ocean and its inhabitants. He has told us numerous times that he wants to "take care of whales" when he grows up. Or rather, now that he is a "big boy" he will tell you he wants to be a "marine biologist".
We had his 4 year check up a few weeks ago and he is right on track or ahead for most things. He failed his hearing test in his left ear though and we need to go back for that. He had a slight ear infection so that was probably the cause. He is also behind on his drawing skills, something he just doesn't show much interest in yet, so we need to keep working on those.
